Tara Satterfield has been involved with interior design, remodeling, and the building industry for most of her life. Tara’s natural talent and passion for designing began while moving with her military family to a new home nearly once a year. (Her father was a decorated fighter pilot in the USAF and later became an eye doctor in the Navy). Tara’s mom, a talented and published artist and interior designer, would remodel every home they moved into, as the ability to profit from those transformed homes became her calling in life! She learned a great deal from those remodeling projects, which helped her choose a career in design at an early age. One of Tara’s greatest loves was the time she was able to participate as a ballerina with the San Diego ballet as one of the youngest professional members of that troupe in the mid-1980s. Due to 2 severe accidents and 5 knee surgeries that left her unable to dance again, Tara went into kitchen and bath remodeling design in the mid-1990s and then added freelance interior design. By 2000, Tara’s growing family yearned for a safer and more family-focused area -which is why she relocated from Southern CA to St. George, UT, where she opened and ran a builder design firm for high-end custom home builders in Southern Utah from 2000- 2008. She takes time to listen to her clients’ needs and wants and very much enjoys solving challenges that will transform your home and life. When Tara is not designing, you will find her enjoying quality time with her 4 adult children and 2 rescued doggos and heading to alternative 80s concerts when they come to town too! When asked what inspires her most: she said, “Seeing the sheer joy and happiness my clients express when they see their projects come to life!”
