Prior to its remodel, this Paradise kitchen was closed off from the rest of the home and had glossy black cabinets throughout. To open up the space, we removed the wall separating the family room and kitchen, removed multiple beams in the family room, and removed the drop-down ceiling in the kitchen. By removing the drop-down ceiling, we were able to install their new upper Papya White Shaker cabinets to the ceiling, which helped the kitchen appear larger. For their island cabinets and lower cabinets, they chose Papya Smoke Shaker for a two-toned kitchen. Their new island was built to house their existing cooktop and new Frigidaire 24” microwave drawer. Relocating the cooktop to the island required us to install a new ZLINE 30” Island Range Hood for ventilation. New Pental Sparkling Black quartz countertops were installed, and for contrast, Arizona Tile Core White Glossy tile was chosen for their new backsplash. Their kitchen sink was upgraded to a granite composite 50/50 black sink with a custom faucet. With the existing light being removed with the drop-in ceiling, we installed multiple recessed can lights throughout their family room and kitchen.
