Prior to its remodel, this Sun City Summerlin kitchen was outdated and closed off from the rest of the home. To help it feel like a cohesive space, we removed the door separating their office from their kitchen and enlarged its opening to make it feel like part of the room. The wall separating the dining room from the kitchen was also removed to enlarge our client’s kitchen. For their new kitchen and office cabinetry, they chose Dura Supreme Bria Carson Maple Cashew cabinets with Super Jumbo MSI Calacatta Valentin. For their kitchen backsplash, they chose a simple Portico Pearl Beveled Subway tile from MSI, which was tiled to the ceiling behind their hood for extra protection. Their kitchen sink was upgraded to a new Kraus Kore 32 Workstation under-mount sink with a Kohler Simplice Stainless pulldown faucet. The original travertine flooring was removed and replaced with Arizona Tile Tivoli Moce 12”x 24”, which was laid perpendicular to their sink.
