This luxurious Master Bathroom exudes elegance with its stunning walk-in shower, in-home sauna, and exquisite marble countertops. The transformation began by dismantling the original shower surrounds, tub, tub deck, flooring, cabinets, and all plumbing fixtures. A new space was meticulously framed for both the shower and the sauna, incorporating additional framing for a 20”x16” shampoo recess and sturdy backing for a fold-up sauna bench. The shower’s plumbing was a complex task, featuring a digital valve and four body sprayers. The reconstruction process was initiated with ½” Triton backerboards and thorough waterproofing to prepare for the tile installation. MSI’s Kaya Calacatta Lucca Matte 12”x24” Tile graces the shower walls, curb, and shampoo recess, while Arizona Tile’s CS Skyline in a Multifinish Hex Tile harmonizes the shower floor with the marble countertops.
The sauna is enhanced with four 4” LED recessed lights, which are tuneable with RGB for playful colors and red light therapy. It boasts the Hive Spirit Heater with Digital Control and WIFI compatibility. The seamless transition from the sauna to the shower is facilitated by a specifically designed door. The sauna’s fold-up bench provides additional space for yoga practice.
To add another layer of luxury, Schluter’s Ditra Heat was used to ensure the tiles are warm underfoot every day. Arizona Tile’s Savanna Cream 8”x40” Tiles complement the rich tones of the custom cabinets. The cabinets, crafted from Prairie Birch and finished in a Russet stain, beautifully match Arizona Tile’s Fantasy Brown Marble Countertops. The bathroom is completed with a 65”x36” LED mirror featuring RGB capabilities, brushed nickel plumbing fixtures, and a final polish to make everything gleam.
