Client : Treasure Mountain

Scope : Kitchen Remodel

Project Date : 2025

Project Description

This kitchen renovation project transformed the space into the open concept the homeowner envisioned. The process began with the removal of original elements including cabinets, countertops, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and a pony wall at the peninsula. Further demolition included a window, sliding glass door, walls around the pantry, and various interior doors and walls, creating a seamless transition between the kitchen and the family room.

Construction kicked off with the framing of a new pony wall and relocating plumbing for the island. The gas line was also adjusted for the new stove placement. The kitchen now features custom paint-grade cabinets: frost satin for the perimeter and charcoal blue for the island. These are equipped with modern conveniences like soft-close drawers, full-extension glides, and specialized pull-outs. The cabinets are complemented by Pental’s Malana quartz slabs, which add a touch of luxury with their deep blue veining and gold flakes. To accentuate the blue theme, Arizona Tile’s Glam Blue Glossy tiles were installed vertically from the cabinets to the ceiling.

In the family room, the built-in entertainment center and fireplace were removed to emphasize the open layout. A new pop-out was constructed to house a 72” electric fireplace, along with cubbies for additional storage. The fireplace surround features Arizona Tile’s Cosmic Ivory tiles, extending into the cubbies, and is crowned with a custom Birch Almond mantle.

Final touches in the project include gold plumbing fixtures, a navy blue sink, and gold hardware for the cabinets, all beautifully set against MSI’s LVP Laurel Reserve flooring in Fallonton
