This comprehensive home remodel began with a complete overhaul of the kitchen. We dismantled the existing countertops, cabinets, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, and even removed some walls and the dropped ceiling in the kitchen and nook areas. The construction phase included framing a new wing wall and a pony wall to support the island. To enhance the ambiance, we incorporated additional lighting and undercabinet lighting, brightening the entire space. The kitchen features two-tone cabinets, with the base showcasing Koch Classic Bristol in Paint Grade Beige Satin, and the wall cabinets elegantly complementing them in Koch Classic Bristol in Paint Grade Ivory Satin. For a touch of color and texture, we used MSI’s Taos interlocking Mosaic tile. The kitchen is completed with stainless steel appliances, chrome plumbing fixtures, and sleek handles.
Next, we turned our attention to the master bathroom and bedroom. We began by removing the shower surrounds, bathtub, cabinets, countertop, mirrors, and accessories. The construction phase involved framing the new shower, adding framing for a shampoo niche, and closing in the old medicine cabinet cavity. We also framed a new bedroom door. Continuing the neutral tone from the kitchen, we installed Bedrosians Prati Macchia Vecchia 12”x24” Honed Tile for the shower walls, shampoo niche, and pony wall surrounds. To accent the red veining in the shower wall tile, we used Bedrosians 360 Cardinal Glass Matte Penny rounds for the shower floor. A custom ⅜” clear glass frameless shower door with brushed nickel hardware was installed. The bathroom cabinets match the kitchen, using Koch Classic Bristol in Paint Grade Beige Satin, paired with an MSI’s Mystic Grey Quartz countertop. The space is completed with brushed nickel plumbing fixtures and accessories.
Finally, we tackled the flooring throughout most of the home and applied a fresh coat of paint. The existing flooring was removed, and the concrete was prepped, ensuring it was level. We installed MSI’s Prescott XL – Hawthorne LVP. This home remodel features neutral colors with subtle pops of red and brown, creating a timeless look that promises a lifetime of happiness.
