This home remodel in Henderson beautifully transformed two bathrooms into luxurious, functional spaces. The homeowners personally handled the demolition, allowing for a seamless start to the construction process with the master bathroom. They decided to remove the bathtub to create a larger shower area. This began with framing the new shower, which included a shampoo niche and a pony wall for the opening. After backerboarding and waterproofing, tiling commenced with selections from the Arizona Tile Canyon line of porcelain tiles. The expansive shower features Canyon Ivory in 24″x48″ tiles for the walls, curb, and shampoo niche, while Canyon Brown in 2″x2″ tiles accents the floor. To ensure a seamless transition from the shower to the bathroom floor, Canyon Ivory in a 12″x24″ format was used. A frameless 3/8″ clear glass over the pony wall maintains an open yet private feel. New cabinets in Koch Express Hartford 950 in Russet with Slab Drawer Fronts, coupled with MSI’s Calacatta Delios Quartz countertops, unify the space. The vanity mirror, framed in the same cabinet color, complements the design. Final touches include fresh paint, new baseboards, and matte black plumbing fixtures and handles.
Attention then shifted to the Hall Bathroom, with the homeowners once more taking charge of demolition. Construction began with framing a new shower area featuring a 16″x16″ shampoo niche. Following waterproofing and backerboard installation, a new bathtub was installed, and tiling began. MSI’s Porcelain Panel System was chosen for a seamless, groutless appearance, with its brown veining in the Glacier Statuary perfectly complementing Arizona’s Tiles Canyon Brown 12″x24″ bathroom floor tiles. Consistency with the master bathroom was achieved by using Koch Express Hartford 950 in Russet for the cabinets and MSI’s Calacatta Delios for the countertops. Matte black plumbing fixtures, a clear glass sliding door over the tub, and matte black handles completed the look. These upgrades brought a custom, luxurious touch to both Henderson bathrooms, elevating the overall space.
